While some of those claims are true, others are certainly not. When anyone, myself included, tries to gather and share research, finding tangible proof is difficult. Not because it isn't there, but because **so much of it is fragmented and scattered** across the internet. Some of those hiding places are a lot harder to find than others. ==It is ironic, and perhaps even considered a bonus to some, that in an era where anything should be easy to find at a moment's notice, a simple site update somewhere along the way can render something lost to time... forever.== This is an attempt to remedy that for myself and hopefully inspire and teach others who might want to do the same. By utilizing powerful, "future-proof" tools, this index seeks to establish a baseline of buildable knowledge, and is focused on building a future that is grounded and well-informed. ## What's the Goal? To more effectively cultivate **"Big Dig Energy",** this index establishes baseline and consistent systems to support current digs, and allows for bringing in new and previously-collected information to process into the system easily. The index is easily searchable, extremely portable, and made to last. ### Becoming Sentient >==**Elevator Pitch:**== What takes us from asleep to wide awake? Is it possible to identify various steps to facilitate that process more easily? ## Index Development This is guided by bringing in as many data points supported by primary source information as possible. The logged metadata and keywords in various card and catalog entries, allow for easy and powerful analysis of connections, and continuously synthesizes the information over time. Various subcategories of the index are: ### Catalog The #Index contains collected information on various categories of topics. They are separated into 9 parent categories, which I put entirely too much thought into dividing out. You can read more about the different entities that make up each category at ==**[About the Index →](About%20the%20Index%20→.md)**==. The nine categories are: >**Creative Works, Events, Governments, Medical, News Stories, Organizations, People, Places, and Social-Cultural Identities.** #### A Note on Catalog Entries > For the time being, for speed in populating out the initial index, many of the overviews in the Catalog come from the first paragraph of various entries found on Wikipedia. As time goes on, this will change. It's not ideal, but it's not a bad place to start either. ### Cards Each card contains an individual piece of information that supports digs and fleshes out profiles in the Catalog. The cards are guided by W3C standards that create not only a standard for this index, but also makes it easy to compare with available information across the web. **See:** [[About the Archives →]] for a general idea of the various data points that make up cards. The current Card subtypes are: **Articles, US Government, Videos, and Scientific Papers.** We can then identify which data points are commonly found, more difficult to find, or can't be found at all. By identifying gaps in information, we can still glean information, as the gap might be an indicator. AKA: ==The dog that doesn’t bark.== ### Digs - Take synthesized materials and build a project around that information. - - Document shifts in messaging, examples of successful moments, unsuccessful ones, etc. ==**Catalyst** → **Impact** → **Dig** → **Monitoring** ⇉ **Moments** & **Case Study**== #### The Show - Incorporate these processes into the show for further discussions and digging guides. # Long Term Goals What's the end goal? What's the pipe dream scenario? ## Success of Big Dig Energy I mean duh. Flesh this out later. > ==**Question:**== How is success measured? > ==Answer:== To be determined. ## Building An Enterprise? **The data framework standard** would lead to **a collaboration standard**. Any significant increase in income in time would leave room for the ability to hire people. "Hiring" without pay is a non-starter. The necessary growth has to come first. > **==Question:==** Do you want to build under Big Dig Energy branding? > **==Answer:==** Probably so, but leave avenues for people to do their own thing. Growing into a behemoth is not what this is about. Whatever happens with BDE, the goal is empowering people, operating with a universal knowledge bank for myself, and teaching people how to make their own if they want to. # The Game Plan > ![](https://mermaid.ink/img/pako:eNptkMFOwzAMhl8lymlI2wv0gMTabVQCDWlIHJoeQuN2gcapHAeYtr07aXuAw27Wp0_-7f8sG29AZrLt_Xdz1MTitVCo8KHK9cCRQBxOgcGFUIvV6v6yJoudsChKbD05zdbjRayr_XuwxmqcrRfyDYSQ1IvIFyUa-BG5Zug8WQh3CvNRE0WVxA9oONRj5gw3KZl177t_bJsYmdkqJrJb7CMPkcdlCjc32PYG203ssXqDdC5D_cfK6sl-QWAC7Wq5lA7Sc9akZs4KhVCSj-BAySyNRtOnkgqvydOR_eGEjcyYIixlHEz6s7C6I-1k1uo-JArGsqfnueqp8esvJKp_MA?type=png) # Tags ---- - **First Indexed:** 05-27-2023 - 4:26 pm - **Last Updated:** 06-04-2023 - 6:05 pm
