**Descriptions:**
> [!info|no-icon flex bg-c-gray]- Archives
> \- Various articles, DOI papers, videos, etc., that have been transposed in part or entirely to the site for current and future cross-referencing.
> [!info|no-icon flex bg-c-gray]- Bookshelf
> \- A collection of books and various other text that I either enjoyed or added to enhance an index page or show notes. All texts are found elsewhere online and simply embedded and linked here.
> [!info|no-icon flex bg-c-gray]- Chronology
> \- A timeline view of the contents of the index. Mostly for my own notes, but you might like to look through it as well.
> [!info|no-icon flex bg-c-gray]- Index
> \- Profiles on people, places, organizations, events, etc., accumulated and added to over time. The classification system is an adaptation of W3C Schema Language for both seen and unseen documentation and metadata records.
> [!info|no-icon flex bg-c-gray]- Info & FAQ
> \- We're all a little nosy, at the end of the day. If you want to know more about me, the site, or my plans to take over the world a-la Pinky & the Brain, here you go.
> [!info|no-icon flex bg-c-gray]- The Show
> \- I do a livestream. It's also called Big Dig Energy. Yes, it's very repetitive. For each stream there are corresponding notes. Some are more detailed and thorough than others, but they're all found here.
> [!info|no-icon flex bg-c-gray]- Dig Projects
> \- Ongoing digs that combine archives, index pages, span multiple show notes, or otherwise categorized as I see fit.
> [!info|no-icon flex bg-c-gray]- Toolbox
> \- A list of sites and resources I use on a regular basis, if you're into that sort of thing, as well as a section on mental modeling and how to approach tricky subjects from the most effective angle — or at least the most effective angles I know of so far.
> [!info|no-icon flex bg-c-gray]- Donation Options
> \- Of course I want your money. But only if you want to send a little my way, of course. I'm not a monster.
The various landing pages go into further detail.
## How the Site Works
This collection of digs, notes, and archives is my attempt at making sense of the constant onslaught of information I take in. The index contains profiles accumulated on various topics, and the archive contains… well, archives of texts or other such media that support the index.
Elsewhere, you'll find notes for respective episodes of the Big Dig Energy livestream, a chronological look at everything making up the site contents, a toolbox filled with resources for digs, and various ongoing projects that I add to over time.
Ultimately, I make this for myself, and I hope others might also enjoy perusing its contents.
The navigation on the left side of the page is intentionally broad. An overly-narrow categorization system is inherently self-limiting, and this is meant to expand in the way actual thoughts do: Over time, asynchronously, and contextually alongside one another.
### Searching the Site
To the top left of the page you'll find a search bar, if you'd like to see if a certain person, organization, or topic has been covered thus far. All page titles as well as page headings are fully searchable.
### Graphs and Contents
On the right-hand side of the page (you'll have to toggle it on mobile) you'll find a table of contents for whichever page you are on, as well as a local graph which maps the page with others that are closely linked.
